That’s why we are supplying only fine ingredients for a proper breakfast, each of the seven mornings of your holiday. We believe that’s the key for a successful day of riding.

With a slightly longer head tube and longer wheelbase than Giant’s full race TCR bikes, the Giant Defy 1 falls very much into the ‘endurance’ or ‘comfort’ road bike category, perfect for sportive riding. Sure the Giant Defy 1 is as fast as any similarly priced road bike out there but, for most people, it’s more comfortable than a pure race geometry road bike.
Not only do Giant uniquely make their own Aluxx frames from the smelting process to the paint shop, they also make their own forks. The Giant Defy 1 has carbon composite for light weight and pinpoint steering accuracy, matched with their Overdrive aluminium steerer which is tapered to further firm up the front end. This tapered steerer design is a great antidote to brake judder that can afflict less robustly built bikes.

Please meet Ivan. Hi Ivan! Born in Croatia, he spent a good part of his life being surrounded by tourists and bicycles. After cycling most of Asia and Europe, we decided he’s good enough cyclist and tour leader to show you the beauty lying in front of his doorstep – Mediterranean Croatia. Fluent in English, understands German, he and his cycling-devoted team will make sure things work perfectly during your stay.
We think there’s mud flowing through Marko’s veins. He’s a natural Adriactiver, feeling most at home when there’s a bike in his sight. Preferably with off-road tires and suspensions. Born in Istria, local off-road trails are Marko’s playground. Fluent in English, Italian and German, he claims to be an expert on Istrian wine and cheese. He rides and fixes bikes pretty well, too.
Our newest team member, Nina is our marketing and sales guru with an outrageous love for Croatia and the outdoors. She possess extraordinary ability to multitask; for example eating olives while finalising an email proposal during a phone conversation on new tour specifications. Anyhow, without Nina, Adriactive would be an uninspiring and pretty disorganised place to deliver the finest treats to you. A degree in tourism management makes Nina pretty smart as well.
Being in the saddle most of the day, having fine food and discovering Mediterranean sounds like well spent time? Do you feel more comfortable on a bicycle than on foot? Do you fell like home when being surrounded by people? Do you speak several languages? If you answered yes to most of the above, you just might be a good candidate to join us at Adriactive Croatia. Why don’t you send us an email introducing yourself?
